Hi, I'm Marina Bak, I am from Long Island, NY majoring in Visual Communication Design and Art History. My work focuses on environmental design, publication, and creating brand identities. I often work with local businesses, galleries, and community-based organizations in the art world. I am always open to meet and collaborate with new people to challenge myself. My design approach is methodical, empathetic, and creates a balance between artistic vision and solutions.
Common Meadow
While many landscapers and lawn maintenance workers go unnoticed, their presence is evident in the smell of freshly cut grass, striped green lawns, and blooming flowers. This April, Plant a Tree Day will help plant the seeds for a new hang out space on campus: Common Meadow. Student volunteers will join groundskeepers in revitalizing this area. By creating a strong brand identity for this new space, my project generates interest in the event through social media, posters, and t-shirts.
